Episode 81: Thor and Friends

Hello and welcome to another edition of Anillary Characters. This week despite the absence of Paul, Allen, Ethan and Seth soldier on.

Here's a brief rundown of what the episode holds. They read your letters. One is about ComiXology Submit and the hidden gems that it holds. Specifically The Deep, Beware, Tiger Lawyer, and once again Seth plugs The Outliers. The other letter is about trading dream teams from one company to the other.

There is no news because Paul has gone on a magical quest to the "fairly lands" to find a lost gem.

In the take-it-or-leave-it they review a handful of the latest releases such as Thor: God of Thunder, Uncanny X-Men, and the Riddler villain's month title. They also talk about quite a few more but it's too early and I'm too tired to remember what they are. You'll have to listen to find out. Heyo!

If you enjoy this episode please seek us out at our home on the web, AncillaryCharacters.com or at facebook.com/ancillarycharacters or on Twitter @ancillarytweets. You can hear us discuss YOUR topics of interest  by emailing them to letters@ancillarycharacters.com. We loooove hearing from you guys.

Episode 80: Rust volumes 1 & 2

In episode 80 we dig into the all-ages comic Rust from @RoydenLepp as a companion to the interview!

We start off the show with a discussion of DC's recent editorial conundrums and whether or not the companies line-up is generating any interest. Once again, our unoficial sixth Ancillary Character, Luis D. Santos is responsible for the letter.

Then we discuss some of the latest comics news such as the All-New Marvel Now! line of titles. James D. Robinson on an Invaders book, anyone? Eh?

Then we team review Rust from Archaia and Royden Lepp. Allen gives his patented run-down of the story before we dig into what makes Rust: Visitor in the Field and Secret of the Cell such a wonderful title. Not just as a comic but an all-ages title that truly lives up to what being "all-ages" means.

You can find us on the web at ancillarycharacters.com or on twitter @ancillarytweets or at facebook.com/ancillarycharacters. You can send us your letters to letters@ancillarycharacters.com and we'll read them live on air!

Please don't forget to leave us a rating/review on iTunes!
