Episode 103: Amazon Nightmares

This episode is interesting in that it features a variety of scintillating topics. You'll know them when you hear them.

As usual there is a smorgasbord of off-topic nonsense such as the use of the phrase "coons age" and some other stuff. We got letters from three of our wonderful listeners this week which allowed for some really fun discussion points.

During What's Up With Paul we talked about...

Grant Morrison's Multiversity
Cyborg in Man of Steel

Then Take it or Leave it...

Paul reviews Batman Eternal 1
Ethan reviews some Halo movie
Allen reviews Original Sin 0
Seth reviews a recent episode of Arrow

Then the show ends

Episode 102: Palling Around with Pennooch

Wow. A lot going on here. Movie trailers, talk of Clooney-butt, a diatribe about Robin in the new 52, oh, and @pennooch.

Before it all gets started we have our longest introduction ever. Pennooch talks about his side gigs and then we all talk about our summer plans. Possibly the greatest devised topic of all time there. Summer plans. Who comes up with this crap?

During the news we talk about the new X-Men Days of Future Past trailer, the just-announced return of (a) Robin to the Bat family, and the upcoming DC weekly series'... of which there are three. Like anyone cares.

During the take it or leave it

Pennooch reviews Ghost Rider #1

Ethan reviews The American

Allen reviews Welcome to Nightvale (a podcast)

Seth reviews The Wake #7

Then they're done.

If you like the show please leave us a rating/review on the web. Send letters to or find us on the web at On twitter @ancillarytweets or at

Episode 101: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Your four favorite star-spangled podcast hosts return to talk about Captain America: The Winter Soldier! The movie and comic!

But first they read your... wait, nope. No letters.

Then they go to the What's Up With Paul segment! What's up with Paul this week, you ask! No one remembers.

Then they review Captain America: The Winter Soldier... the film and the Ed Brubaker 14 issue story arc that introduced the new take on a classic character to the Marvel Universe. How did they feel about it all these years later? Find out!

Send us some love to Find us online at or on or on Twitter @ancillarytweets.

Episode 100.3: Smallville: Absolute Justice

The 100th episode closes out in spectacular fashion with Jonesy and Dale essentially hosting a discussion of Smallville, beards and other stuff!

Dale starts this one off by introducing listeners to the "fact" that he and Jonesy have been the real reason for AC's success. Well, the jokes on them because this show is far from a success! AHA!

Anyway, we talk about Smallville in this segment and beards, and food and other stuff. It was recorded very late at night.

Episode 100.2: The Princess Bride

The party just keeps on going as @adcustom joins the gang to talk The Princess Bride and why he picked that handle...

First, we read a legendarily epic letter courtesy of Dave Finn, our resident Aussie. He's also known for his mean Crocodile Dundee impersonation so give him a round of applause.

We also dip into a rather lengthy What's Up With Paul segment but we kept getting knocked off target by diatribes. Like when Andrew and Seth argue about whether or not Pixar is making too many sequels for twenty minutes...

And then we review The Princess Bride. A cinema classic, gloreously dissected by your favorite talk show hosts and the guy who does Polycomics Book Club.

If you liked this episode check out all the others we've done. There are actually more than just 100... Oh and see us on the web at or or on Twitter @ancillarytweets.

Letters to and, obviously, ratings/reviews on iTunes help us out.
